My first appointment with Gwen LoVetere was in March of 2006, at a time when I was struggling with severe arthritis in my neck, with associated nerve compression, headaches, and muscle weakness. I had to take three months of disability from my duties as an obstetrician-gynecologist to address these problems. Gwen’s treatments were critical in my moving through a period of neck pain, post-op recovery, and rehabilitation. I still have arthritis in my neck but I have full range of motion, am basically pain free, rarely take medication for pain, and, at the age of 60, am looking forward to many more years of work.

I still see Gwen on a regular basis and with her help I feel I am living pretty much at my peak performance, energetically and psychologically. She treats me for a variety of common complaints, but frequently I see her when I feel terrific because I believe her acupuncture is part of the reason I am doing so well.
